Participants learn construction techniques and principles for knitting raglan sweaters from the top in any size. Basic planning and calculations are covered. The benefits of this knitting method is illustrated. A small doll-sized sweater will be knitted during the class.

Techniques covered: long-tail cast on, calculation principles for a top-down raglan of any size, knit, purl, knitting backwards, symmetrical raglan increases (2 types), YO buttonholes, magic loop method, loose cast off.
